Overview:
The AiTWobo National School Robotics Competition (NSRC) is a premier event designed to inspire and engage high school students in robotics and STEM education. This competition fosters creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork while preparing students for global challenges through cutting-edge technology.
About the Competition
Theme: Each year, the competition revolves around a real-world problem, encouraging students to design innovative robotic solutions.
Judging Criteria: Creativity, functionality, technical design, teamwork, and presentation quality.
Awards:
- National Champion Award: Trophy, certificates, and cash prize.
- Innovation Award: For the most creative solution.
- Team Spirit Award: Recognizing exceptional collaboration and enthusiasm.
- Skill Building: Learn practical skills in robotics, programming, and design.
- Teamwork & Leadership: Develop collaboration and leadership skills in a competitive environment.
- Recognition & Opportunities: Compete for national titles, scholarships, and recognition in the robotics community.
- September – October: School Registration
- November – December: Training & Workshops
- January – March: Project Development & Reviews
- April: Regional Competitions
- May: National Finals
- Open to high schools within the AiTWobo Haiti network.
- Teams must consist of 4–8 students with at least one faculty mentor
Workshops & Training:
- Teams receive hands-on training in robotics, programming, and mechanical design.
Mentorship Opportunities:
- Industry professionals and AiTWobo experts mentor teams throughout the competition.
Spotlight Stories:
- Feature stories of past participants and their achievements, including photos and testimonials.
- School Registration: Schools register their teams through the AiTWobo portal.
- Training & Preparation: Teams receive access to workshops and resources to kickstart their projects.
- Compete Regionally: Teams showcase their projects in regional competitions.
- National Finals: The best teams compete for the national title.
